WEF Melbourne - Bramshaw Boys Bulldoze their way to work!

The World Economic Forum was held at Crown Casino, Melbourne, for three turbulent days in September 2000. Over 500 International delegates and VIP's were welcomed and as many speak other languages.

Bramshaw was chosen to provide our infra-red electronic simultaneous interpretation communications so all delegates could listen in their mother tongue. The previous World Economic Forum in Seattle USA created a storm of protest so we expected the worst and were not disappointed.

To gain access to the demonstrator surrounded 20 hectare Crown complex our crew had to arrive at 0600 dressed in mufti and fight their way through the demonstrators and past the Police. Working with Staging Connections, the in-house AV supplier, the conference ran very smoothly in all sessions and break outs.

Despite external interruptions, including many staff not being able to get to work, a let's do this together team approach by everyone at Crown ensured that the Forum was a great success as the delegates were able to discuss and make discussions on many important World issues. Bramshaw was proud to once again facilitate such an important meeting with the co-operation of the: Brähler® ICS Worldwide Network, Staging Connections Australia & Crown Casino - Melbourne.

" told me and I forgot, you showed me and I saw, you involved me and I remembered."

be sure. BRAMSHAW
