Listen Technologies Televic D-Cerno CUR Digital Discussion Central Microphone Controller with Digital Recording
The Televic D-Cerno Digital Discussion CUR is the heart of the discussion system designed to control & record small to mid-sized meetings, but is powerful enough to control up to 50 delegate units. It can also be expanded up to 150 units by using multiple Central Units.
By connecting a USB device to the CUR, it has the ability to record all of the audio present in the meeting for future playback and archive. The recording parameters are versatile allowing adjustment of the file type and size depending on the requirements. It is possible to connect the CUR to the local network through the LAN connector. This makes it possible to control the recording and configuration by web browser on your PC or mobile device.
The stylish appearance of the Digital Discussion CUR matches the microphone units allowing it to be placed on a table in the room, creating a stylish ensemble. Additionally, because it doesn’t have a fan, it can be located near the chairman without the concern of fan noise.
The CUR features four (4) RJ-45 outputs which the microphone units can be connected in a daisy chain over the digital network. Depending on the topology of the room, each CUR has the ability to use the four (4) ports as either branches or two (2) closed loops. When cabled in loop, the built-in redundancy method guarantees that the system will continue to work even if a cable were to break or become disconnected.
The CUR also has the necessary inputs and outputs for connecting to other equipment such as audio mixers, teleconferencing units, handheld microphones, etc. The Digital Discussion System is designed to work out-of-the box, with minimal technical expertise required. Control of the system is easy and intuitive via the touch sensor buttons and a large LCD menu or via the integrated web server. The possible conference modes are Direct Access, Request-to-Speak, Push-to-Talk, FIFO and Voice Activation (VOX).
