Simultaneous translation is the term we use when a speaker delivers an address and our simultaneous translator repeats the words 'simultaneously' into another language. Usually this translating is done from an translator's booth and the translator listens to the speaker via headsets and speaks into a special push-to-talk microphone which is then transmitted by very secure wireless infra-red or radio frequency to the conference or presentation's delegates.
It is an art form, but we're the specialists!
PS - strictly speaking translation is for the written word and translated word for word from one language to another. Interpreting is called just that because the interpreter interprets what is being said and reproduces it with very little delay into another language. If you try and speak in the same language as someone who is speaking to you & repeating it simultaneously in the same language you will find that it is not easy!Click here to see how it all fits together.

Televic's Lingua and Aladdin systems are simultaneous interpretation specialist systems. The simultaneous interpretation equipment technology takes a speaker's voice, and, via distortion free and secure digital infra-red light, transmits the speech to the delegates in their mother tongue (you can interpret up to 40 languages simultaneously).
This is simultaneous interpretation.
Eavesdropping? Not with secure infra-red. It uses our secure digital infra-red light for sound transmission - not radio waves.
Our Televic Lingua and Aladdin digital receivers can also be used in broad daylight or under floodlights with no change or reduction in the transmitted sound quality.

"...We write to thank you for the excellent role you played in the successful delivery of the above Meeting. The G-20 Ministerial Meeting was an extremely complex, high profile event requiring precise and perfect integration of all logistical details.
As the Professional Conference Organiser for this Meeting responsible for all logistical delivery it was extremely important to have included the services of such a professional and dedicated company.
Your role of provision of the complex interpreting equipment requirements including 15 language booths positioned remotely with both audio and visual feeds to the main meeting room was conducted seamlessly.
